Prince William teases fans with Earthshot Prize surprise

Prince William has teased fans with some casual behind-the-scenes pictures, showing off a whole new side to him.
The royal shared some new photos on Instagram taken inside some lush green woodlands.
The Prince of Wales wore an unusually low-key outfit consisting of a navy coloured waterproof jacket to protect him from the rain as he held a black umbrella.

The 42-year-old smiled brightly at the camera, telling fans: “Filming for a very special @earthshotprize project earlier today ☔️Watch this space 🌎”
But rather than his smiley demeanour, fans were focused on something else on his face.
Royal fans have noticed the royal has been growing out his facial hair over the summer holidays, but it seems the beard is here to stay.

“Who else absolutely loves the beard on Prince William? He looks smashing!” said one fan.
“The beard was surprising at first but I actually quite like it now. So distinguished!” another admitted.
“The hair beard looks amazing! We all can’t get enough,” one fan shared.

An Australian entrepreneur is among those that have been recognised by Prince William and his Earthshot Prize.
Among the finalists in the ‘Revive our Oceans’ category is Coast 4C, co-founded by Nicholas Hill.
It’s described as a social enterprise that aims to build the world’s largest supply of regenerative seaweed, benefiting marginalised coastal fishing communities by transforming their harvest and providing a market to sell the seaweed at profits to lift them out of poverty.

Coast4C operates out of the Philippines but its headquarters are in Sydney, and Hill is originally from Cronulla.
